Privacy Policy for Docs Vault

TechSpan Infotech built Docs Vault as a personal offline document vault app. This privacy policy explains how the app handles user data.
Information We Collect
Docs Vault does not collect, upload, sell, or share your personal documents with TechSpan Infotech.
The app stores the following information locally on your device:
- Person or vault names created by you
- Document titles and descriptions added by you
- Files, photos, images, PDFs, and other documents uploaded by you
- App settings such as theme, PIN lock status, and recovery question details
This data is stored on your device using local app storage and local database storage.
Camera and File Access
Docs Vault may request camera permission when you choose to take a photo inside the app.
Docs Vault may request file access when you choose to upload files from your device.
These permissions are used only for features selected by you. The app does not access your camera or files in the background.
PIN and Security Question
If you enable PIN lock, your PIN is stored in a protected form and is not visible to TechSpan Infotech.
If you set a security question for PIN recovery, the answer is stored locally in protected form on your device.
Ads and Purchases
Docs Vault may show ads using Google AdMob. AdMob may collect or use certain device, advertising, and usage data according to Google’s policies.
Docs Vault also provides a Remove Ads purchase using Google Play Billing. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play. TechSpan Infotech does not receive your payment card details.
Data Sharing
TechSpan Infotech does not sell your personal data.
The app may use third-party services:
- Google AdMob for ads
- Google Play Billing for in-app purchases
These services may process data according to their own privacy policies.
Backup and Restore
If you use the backup feature, the app creates a local ZIP backup selected by you. You are responsible for storing and protecting that backup file.
Data Deletion
You can delete documents, files, vaults, and app data inside the app. You can also uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data from your device.
Children’s Privacy
Docs Vault is not directed to children. The app is intended for general personal document management.
